A year ago, there was a lot of buzz surrounding a possible Twitter TV show. And it is being done in Spain.
As Twitter's new Vice President of Communications recently wrote in a tweet, Twision is a Spanish program that premiered on the Veo7 channel last week. Although it is not broadcast precisely in a prime time slot (it airs at midnight), it is an hour-long program that allows viewers to send live tweets with which two presenters then interact.
As can be seen on this site managed by Veo7, the program takes place in a studio with two presenters with laptops and a giant screen behind them that acts as a showcase for tweets. The presenters also show videos and other content shared on Twitter to talk about them. The site shows the tweets that are coming in next to the video playback. Here is a video clip of an episode.
